The Shogun-class Battleship was a warship design created by the Akiran Mechanicum using Imperial designs and Standard Template Constructs unearthed beneath Madrigal's surface. Swift and heavily armed with esoteric weaponry, it was one of the most powerful battleship classes in the Imperium's flotillas, surpassed only by the Imperator, Infernus and Gloriana classes for sheer firepower. Within a few decades of Icarion Anasem's reunion with the Lightning Bearers, the Shogun-class had become the heart of the Ist Legion Fleet.
